It’s so sad to have anything stolen from you, especially such a beautiful watch.
I’ve mentioned it before, these thugs have zero moral zero respect for the work you’ve put in. They often see it the other way around. You have so they have a right to own it to.
That something like that happens in the train in Switzerland shows how deep society has sunk. It’s not a third world country with huge differences between rich and poor and a relatively low crime rate.
I agree with the author below; indeed showcasing our pieces on a forum like this could increase appetite.
On the other hand, showing your watch on this forum doesn’t quit inform the potential thief of your travel plans or which train you’re about to take.
Me for one will continue to post on this forum, not just to share our hobby but also to share how I feel about these f.... indeed
Stolen Nautilus 3800P
On friday, August 23th, 2019 my beloved 3800 Platinum has been stolen in a train between Geneva and Berne There is a paricular mark between 5 and 6 on the lunette, my dog loved the taste of platinum... May be someone vomes across this rare watch.... ...

Was the watch in your checked luggage or carry on. I assume it was not on your wrist when stolen. Very sorry. Make sure to send all the info to Patek.

If you can get a police report,
You can submit your pictures, current contact info, and the police report (must have a complete police report) to Patek or your AD and they will keep it on file should it ever come back to them for service.
