Patek Philippe

Patek Philippe Ref. 5470P

And for those among us who like a sportier aesthetic and complication, here is the 1/10th of a Second Monopusher Chronograph, ref. 5470P-001.

The platinum case measures 41 x 13.68 mm

Blue varnished dial with applied white gold Breguet numerals (I think the following photos are more faithful to the texture of the dial than the one below).

Central 1/10th of a second hand in Silinvar®, red lacquered. Patented display ensuring fast and accurate 1/10th of a second reading.

White gold leaf-shaped hands with white luminescent coating.

Case design is based on ref. 5370

Diamond set at 6 o'clock

Calfskin leather strap embossed with fabric pattern, contrasted red hand-stitching and fold-over clasp.

High-frequency (5 Hz) movement CH 29-535 PS 1/10 incorporating all the “Advanced Research” innovations in the field of Silinvar® (Oscillomax® Ensemble)

The fit on the wrist

Neither the modern sporty aesthetic nor the fast running 1/10th of a second complication really speaks to me personally, but it's still an interesting and good looking watch.

What do you think?

Best, Emmanuel
