I can fully imagine this anticipation when you went to meet this watch. I did months of research and reading all the articles I can find about Nautilus before I met the AD and that moment is very similar to your post. You brought back that feeling of joy....

A few year ago, looking at the messages posted by this god damned bloody fu****g Nico, I saw pictures he made about this 5110 P. More and more attracted by this watch, I decided one day to contact him (I live in Paris too) to ask him if he would be OK to ... 

I am quite proud of it, as your taste is impeccable. Yes, I see a sign of destiny, here... As you know, this is something we sadly share, I mean, the burglary. And like you, I had it on my wrist... Along with a few others. I am very happy to count this on...

i was also looking for a watch around that time. it was either an annual calendar or a world time. in the end, i went with the annual calendar and also celebrated our 10 years together. I cant write as well as you do :) you wrote it as if it was just last...

The 5130p is a very nice watch, very nice movement, very nice complication, but the real beauty is in the assembly... what a nice, subtle, and useful set of form, function, and aesthetics, ... at the beginning I had some fights as a result of the occasion...

I wear 44mm Panerai from time to time, a 42MM Omega Speedy, and most often a variety of 40mm Rolexes. The 37mm Patek fits in quite well, dressy or casual. It is a different look compared to the chunky sport watches, but it's elegance is refreshing as an a...

Great piece about a truly iconic Patek; the best Word time PERIOD BTW, I observed something!! Has anybody else noted that the 5110 that Dr. Kol has, shows Dhaka (capitol of Bangladesh) vs the other ones showing it as Dacca!! are there 2 different editions... 

But the newly released World Time Moon, which also spells it Dhaka, has moved Moscow to a new timezone, despite the fact that legislation just changed it to the former time zone, so these 5110s are correct again. Heh heh. PS Mine says Dacca too.

Even the tempting 5131 is a step below... I wouldn't have said that if the dial had better proportions, on the enamel sister. Yes, Edmond, a Watch to grab! Best, Nicolas

... overall proportion, which causes you to rank 5110 higher. IMO, the extra size of the 5131 enables the cities to be better spaced and hence improves the legibility. Now whether one really need to clearly read the cities is another matter. So overall, f...
