It is totally ununderstandable...
...why it took me so long to realize that this was with no doubt THE watch that I had to have as a keeper.
I am probably too versatile and changed my mind so often, so buying and reselling was a constant game. Some time ago (recently) I became tired of this continuous ballet and decided to rationalize, refocus, and concentrate on few iconic quintessential masterpieces. Choosing is renouncing so I decided to make a short list of the keepers that would stay.
I must say that for this one I did not hesitate 1 second: not a single time I have ever been jaded or tired of it and I shall probably never be.
And because you my friend have well contributed for giving me the 5110P virus, I shall thank you forever Nico.

The 5130p is a very nice watch, very nice movement, very nice complication, but the real beauty is in the assembly... what a nice, subtle, and useful set of form, function, and aesthetics, ... at the beginning I had some fights as a result of the occasion...

If you love 44 mm watches, and don't like smaller watches, then you will have a problem.
I personally like big watches and small watches. Size, for me, is not a problem, while coherence is most important for me. Best, Nicolas

Dacca vs Dhaka
Great piece about a truly iconic Patek; the best Word time PERIOD BTW, I observed something!! Has anybody else noted that the 5110 that Dr. Kol has, shows Dhaka (capitol of Bangladesh) vs the other ones showing it as Dacca!! are there 2 different editions...
Not only that….
But the newly released World Time Moon, which also spells it Dhaka, has moved Moscow to a new timezone, despite the fact that legislation just changed it to the former time zone, so these 5110s are correct again. Heh heh. PS Mine says Dacca too.
Mine os from 2004. Dr Kol's one is much later.
