You blatantly insult people without remorse (for no good reason, in fact I'm almost certain you're just a troll), try to portray this sort of "watch snob" persona, all the while spreading your elitist, classist opinion all over the forum, something which no one actually asks for, and quite frankly, annoys quite a few people. But anyways, anyone can really say anything on the internet behind an alias, therefore making what you have to say all the more unbelievable and invalid. If you don't have anything nice to say, then just don't say it. What you said to the poster above was very insulting, not to mention hypocritical, as in your first post you stated that an Aquanaut and a Nautilus were in your list of "all around best watches", yet you openly criticize them, insulting not only the watches at hand, but the people that buy them as well? Yet, you talk so highly of Offshores and PAM's...

The basic Aquanaut is OK, coherent. This one, with the 2 pushers, seems trying to get closer to the Nautilus ;-)) (by far) The layout of the dial is complicated too, tortured, as Nico said... Not for me. My 2 cents opinion...

It looks overcluttered
All the long minute markers and the wide clunky hands make the face look too busy. Not simple and elegant like the previous models. But then, its just my .02 worth.
I find the pushers to be well integrated into the whole, but the dial

I luckily tried this watch last week. It turned out to be a very nice one and looked much much better than in pictures. I think that 27K EUR is a little bit too much. In this price range, I'd go for a 5712/1A.

I may be a bit biased. I think the entire Nautilus and Aquanaut lines are horribly dated, but I'm a watch newb, so maybe they will grow on me in time. As to your particular question, I find the dial too busy.

The thing to remember about Patek watches is that they don't follow fashing trends--they are classic timepieces that are impervious to fads.

and 100% un-Patek-like... you can almost hear 'the meeting' where bean counters said 'we've got to adda complication to the Aquanaut." Then you can almost see the committee trying to jam some complications in there, and the sighing designer (s)... and fin...

The dial is definitely cluttered and pushers seem like an afterthought.. But I wouldn't refer to the Aquanaut as 'meh'.... less is more, and the Aquanaut is a stunning timepiece. Very well-balanced and it all works in harmony

wasn't a fan of the Aquanaut when it was first launched. I just wasn't attracted to it, wasn't crazy about the dial or the rubber strap, but do know it was a huge seller as it was aimed to younger folks at a price point to allow them to enter into the rat...
