Some appreciate the beauty of its dial and the clever integration of a useful complication. Others regret the shape of the two pushers on the left and a too busy dial for an Aquanaut. What is your point of view about this watch ? Hot or not ? Thanks for y...  

Less is more, and beautiful. But it is just my opinion.

The basic Aquanaut is OK, coherent. This one, with the 2 pushers, seems trying to get closer to the Nautilus ;-)) (by far) The layout of the dial is complicated too, tortured, as Nico said... Not for me. My 2 cents opinion...

I am not a fan of the Aquanaut nor the traditional modern Patek travel-time watches but this model made me took notice when I first saw it. I think the travel time was a bit too formal for a travel "tool" watch while the Aquanaut itself did not appeal on ... 

All the long minute markers and the wide clunky hands make the face look too busy. Not simple and elegant like the previous models. But then, its just my .02 worth.

I want one. to a point that i will sell a couple of my watches, including my 5167, to get one. I own a Rolex GMT IIC and it's an infinitely flashier watch for traveling than the 5164.

Actually I have a 5167 and I like it very much for casual wear, simple and elegant, so thin that you dont feel its there. For the 5164, I like the 2 pushers on the left, it matches to the crown guard on the right. The let down is the date display, a simpl...

I really like the travel time complication but the rubber strap is a turn off for me at this price. A few months ago I had a business meeting and the guy opposite me was wearing an aquanaut on a rubber strap. It really clashed badly with the smart busines...

At first, on the photo shop pictures in particular, it looked odd, to put it mildly. With the first real pictures it showed itself: it is truely a double Aquanaut. Firstly it comes with asecond "sub-globe" dial which is the little globe of the pointer dat...

At the end, it seems that you are more disappointed than convinced by this watch. I feel the same. Even if it is quite clever, I found the two night/day indicators very confusing. The pushers, even if they are quite well integrated, breaks the harmony of ...

Busy and cluttered and very 'we have to come up with something' looking.... but then the original never did much for me either... this one is just transparently lacking all inspiration...

Nice integration of the pushers and a useful function in a practical watch. In short, a good addition to the PP range. I agree with the previous comments that a date window would have the better choice to keep the dial clean. Price? Too high for an aquana... 

Have you seen one in person? probably not. Otherwise you would like it and thinking the 5167 is better than this

Do you know if the date automatically adjusts to the local time? I think this watch is perfect for me since I'm always traveling. It's practical and classy; and seems to be comfortable in any climate. Plus, it doesn't screem flash--a feature that I like w... 

I luckily tried this watch last week. It turned out to be a very nice one and looked much much better than in pictures. I think that 27K EUR is a little bit too much. In this price range, I'd go for a 5712/1A.

I picked up my 5164a today and I am very pleased. I can give my 5980 a little rest for the moment.

I may be a bit biased. I think the entire Nautilus and Aquanaut lines are horribly dated, but I'm a watch newb, so maybe they will grow on me in time. As to your particular question, I find the dial too busy.

The thing to remember about Patek watches is that they don't follow fashing trends--they are classic timepieces that are impervious to fads.

and 100% un-Patek-like... you can almost hear 'the meeting' where bean counters said 'we've got to adda complication to the Aquanaut." Then you can almost see the committee trying to jam some complications in there, and the sighing designer (s)... and fin... 

The dial is definitely cluttered and pushers seem like an afterthought.. But I wouldn't refer to the Aquanaut as 'meh'.... less is more, and the Aquanaut is a stunning timepiece. Very well-balanced and it all works in harmony

Here is a picture of my watch, while I am at home and not using the GMT function. Compared to the 5167, or any simple straight time watch, one would suggest that there is a lot going on. As far as the pushers go, it makes setting other time zones lightnin...

I actually like it, except for the shape of the pushers on the left. They just don't work well with the case. And for that sort of money I would've expected a more impressive looking movement.

wasn't a fan of the Aquanaut when it was first launched. I just wasn't attracted to it, wasn't crazy about the dial or the rubber strap, but do know it was a huge seller as it was aimed to younger folks at a price point to allow them to enter into the rat...
