Finally, a new Calatrava without that darned dare window. I’m not sure if the 6119 works for me completely yet: clous de Paris railroad track with little dots outside the main indexes sorta-Dauphine hands...might be one element too many; what if the railroad track weren’t there? And if the sub-seconds was simplified? Hmmm. But then it could be awesomely amazing in person.
Could be interesting to see a ‘pure’ version slightly smaller, say 37mm, kind of a modernised and enlarged 5196. But it’s a darned good start. And so nice to see a new hand-wound movement. About time...
The perpetual looks cool too...very cool...quite lovely in fact...
