Patek Philippe

Hi guys, Would you trade the 5127R plus cash for 5130R? I know one is a complication the other is not, my question is mainly about aesthetics. The case of both watches is different, although 5127 is 2 mm smaller. Thanks for your input! ...  

In fact, both are great watches. 5127 is very classic, while world-timer is a big specialty for Patek. Both look very pretty on the wrist. If the 37mm case is not too small for you, I will personally recommend 5110. This being said, 5130R is still a great...

Since we have gone to the 5110, i'll add another vote that way.

5127 is a bit boring for my tastes, plus, if I wanted a refined Calatrava, I would rather go the 5396, thats definitely a keeper. 5130 although may seem big, actually wears smaller due to the rounded bezel. I have a small wrist and it works well for me. A... 

Patek will always make a basic Calatrava and you can always pick one up new or used. The world timer is a different story. Patek stopped production for decades before bringing back the 5110. If that happens again it will be much harder to get one. Plus th... 

The WT is a classic PP, no question. But the 5127 is the epitome of what made Patek Patek. A simple watch of unassailable classicism, understatement, and perfect beauty. It would seem like a no-brainer to trade for the WT because it's an up-trade in terms...

.....you have a strong attraction to WT regardless 5110 or 5130, it might be more prudent not to make the swap. However I can understand that without really owning the WT, you might never know how you actually feel. Tough decision..Good luck !

To my way of thinking the 5127 is what a Patek Calatrava is all about Stunning, simple, practical, and can be used a lot more on a daily basis than a W/T.
