Nice piece! I personally prefer the 5167 over the 5164.

I prefer the 5167 over the 5164 due to its thinness. So this piece is amongst my favorite among the Aquanaut models!

Funny how there was a recent couple of posts about Aquanauts, then I get ‘the call’ to come cut the seal and get it sized. Wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the composite (read: rubber) strap, but it has a distinct look and I don’t have to be as delicate wit...
Thank you very much, Fab.

I’ll also be curious to see how my experience of this model changes. I even saw someone put this on a nato strap. Not my taste, but I guess there are options. Still, I never considered the bracelet until I saw it on you 👏🏼 Thanks.
I confess that I also love a ‘weighty’ watch...

and that’s why the 5164 travel time would normally be my preference based on size. But i ultimately decided to go with this basic/classic. The 5968 with orange accents is next level Aquanaut, although Travel Time so practical.
I'm starting to learn to appreciate light watches...

I like heavy watches, but I realized with the Lange Zeitwerk in platinum that a heavy unbalanced watch is quite painful to wear as the watch has to be strapped fairly tight to avoid rotating. Also, extremely heavy watches really benefit from having a brac...
I share your viewpoints exactly!

I can’t honestly say it’s beautiful, which would be a disservice to all the beautiful Patek references, including even other Aquanaut models. The dial is nice and iconic, but this wasn’t my first impression at all. So it was never on my ‘wish list’ for qu...
Congratulations!

You will be smitten how versatile and easy to wear it is.. I bet it won't come off your wrist for quite a while... It happens to me when I wear mine !
So very true...

going into next day here with same intention . Even kind of looking forward to it, which hasn’t been my norm since I change into scrubs for most of day. But I guess Aquanaut can even go with such uninspired uniform clothing. Regardless, your prediction st...
Big congratulations!

This is my first post so not sure if etiquette requires introduction first, maybe i'm jumping in by saying.... It's a great watch with simplicity and being under the radar as it's greatest attraction for me as a daily wear. Shown here against my 5726A as ...
Thank you FabR

I have been watching this forum for quite a while now and seeing the enthusiasm here is so refreshing. As I have aged, my discernment and perception of watches has changed for the better. I have only just reached out to the Patek brand and realise now wha...
Welcome, Phillipe, and thank you so much!

I love your picture because the 5726a on the strap is my first Patek love, which I foolishly ended up trading in for a VC. But i miss it so much as I would much easier wear that one compared to any other Nautilus with bracelet. I’ve asked my AD to source ...
Thank you for the warm welcome

I hope you can source another 5726 soon; I can't image me trading mine for anything! I do realise that sometimes you've got to do what you've got to do.
