I have always heard about the legendary Patek Phillipe, worldwide known as one of the best and most traditional brands of the whole sector, watches that were made to be passed from one generation to another. Considering its lengthy trajectory of success, and the very positive recommendations of their watches, I’d decided to buy a Patek Phillipe watch.
Unfortunately, it was the beginning of a nightmare. I bought my watch on March, 12, 2010, and, with a few months of use, to my surprise, it started to show delays. Following the company’s instructions, I then forwarded it to the dealer at my city (XYZ), and received the watch back just before that year´s Christmas (almost 10 months later). Surprisingly, the problem had not been solved, and I had to leave the watch, again, at the dealer on March, 17, 2011. They gave it back to me after two months, but, incredibly, the delays continued. During this time I have sent two letters to Patek Phillipe´s headquarters, at Geneve, Switzerland, however I have never been replied.
Finally, after having been contacted by the dealer at my city, I forwarded the watch, for the third time, to repair. To my surprise and despair, after working properly for a short period, the delays came back. At this time I took the watch out of my wrist and stopped using it. I am waiting for a real solution to my problem since September, 2010. I express here my utter regret on buying a Patek Phillipe watch.
