My humble opinion:

 

EVERY watch that meets a certain quality standard should have a water resistance of at least 10 ATM.

But there are enough watch fans who don't seem to care about that, saying: "I don't go swimming or diving anyway."

For me a solid case also means a generally better feeling when wearing it and, for example, good protection in tropical regions. What's the point of a World Timer if I can't take it everywhere without worrying?
