The RO looks great on your wrist and looks great period, full stop. If the 15400 fit me as well as it fits you, I would much rather wear it than a 5711; it's a better-looking watch and has at least an equal pedigree. The RO also is very unlikely to depreciate in value at this point. In contrast, the 5711's current price is almost certainly inflated -- more than twice as much for a model essentially equivalent to this one? -- and is thus subject to correction over the next few years. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

That RO is a beauty! It's a bit surprising you feel so different about the two pieces given how similar they are. It may at least be worth waiting a couple of years for the prices to come down and see if your feelings change.

If you had a 15202 Jumbo, I would’ve said hang on to it but personally I find the wearing experience of the 15400 to be quite different from the 5711 (or the 5167 for that matter) due to the thickness.

Why would 5711 be any different than the RO?
Similar pedigree, similar segment. If anything it’s the RO that will fall more than the Nautilus, AP brand power is not that of PP.
