Patek Philippe

Interesting question.

The basic question to ask yourself is how much the "non original" is going to affect your joy and bonding with the watch?.

Based on the fact that Patek will not issue an extract for a watch that is not exactly registered in its full configuration:
As the change was done and documented by Patek, and if they do issue an extract for the new variant, it means that the watch is properly registered at Patek and I wouldn't be worried about that.
Will Patek issue an extract for that new version? if they do, I wouldn't bother and don't think there is any value issue here. I would spend the 500CHF for the extract as a base for the transaction.

BUT
The original dial is not exactly as the newer one, not in shade but in period and sigma marking. that has a real value in the eyes of a collector. How much? who knows smile .its like converting a t dial Rolex dial with a Luminova,..
