Glad to hear that you found exactly what you wanted ! :-)
To me, given authenticity is proven, the issue on relative value is whether this configuration is desirable to many others (i.e. same taste as you) in the future. Since you will not have the original dial and hands for the next owner to restore it back, IMO the relative value would be not be as high as the regular 3940. If you love this dial, then the decision will depends on whether the value gap is worth the pleasure of owning this piece. Best of luck with your decision and let us know what you decide.

Thank you for your answer. But what would be the point of having an extract from the archives knowing that the watch currently holds all papers ? As it would never state the the watch "turned into" a 3940G-013 ?
