Patek Philippe

I wouldn't buy it, unless I was 100% sure and positive I loved it!

Every year, I compile a list of favorite watches that I really appreciate.

Ten years ago, the watch was the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duo in Rose Gold.

An AP Royal Oak was added to the "Sports category" about eight years ago.

A Patek and a Breguet was added to the favorites list, eight years ago. Two additional Pateks have been introduced since then.

Glashutte Original Karee (older case style) caught on about six years ago

And somewhat more recently; Lange, Journe, and Panerai have gotten on the list.

And so on, and so on.

However, out of all of these, none of these watches were never crossed off my list. All of my favorites have remained perennial favorites.

And that's the point, make sure you like something that you are certain to remain to be one of your favorites.

Basically, don't buy it unless you have a deep inner urging, the little voice in your head that says "I have to have it!" and won't go away for a few days.

But, look at it this way; with Patek, you simply can't go wrong. So, the safest bet is to acquire it and fret about it later.
