I think this is the only call I will get from an AD. It is a rare event, no doubt. But I do not think that, if I do see this watch in person and fall in love and must have it--that it will be impossible to acquire, at least for another year or so. The market being what it is, has changed everything, as we all know.

You should consider yourself lucky to be offered the 5970P I cant get one here, down under - the AD here in Sydney does not expect to get one - I guess our market is just too small.

I would have to agree with you as far as the "looks" of the piece goes. Not one of my favorite Pateks. It does not "sing" to me. Although they are hard to get, passing on something that does not make you happy is wisdom. Just my 2ยข... Aloha, Bob

take a look at it. if it doesn't sing to you, try to negotiate with the ad, in case you can strike a deal that will make it sing to you. you never know these days.
