Here in Singapore , the car costs 2.5 times more than the watch. So without saying the car will come first.

The watch will still be there when the car is long forgotten. One is investment, the other is consumption.

My 2 humble cents on this Best Luca

... that has a lower resale than what I bought it for. Early pieces I got in 2000-2003 are all above their original price. The cars I owned back then (including Ferrari, Porsche etc.) are mostly forgotten now. But these watches - I still enjoy them every ... 

My brother comments always that my watch costs what his boat does. I say you use your boat for 12-14 weekends per year. I use my watch nearly every day and get joy out of it every time I look at it. It is no comparison. The watch wins every time.
