In consolidating my collection, i got rid of my AP RO Chronograph in rose gold, blue strap. That watch caught the light in a most “look at me” brashness and I loved the attention. While the 5905R follows a similar colour scheme, it exudes a more refined maturity that I think reflects an older version of me. …or I’m just kidding myself. I haven’t evolved my tastes at all…
Anyways, the 5905R in some ways replaces my ROC.

I had to let go of a few near and dear pieces to my heart for this watch. I might not have done so if I wasn't preparing for my next stage in life.
Great choice
I think the blue-dial 5905R has a more lively vibe than the 5905P. Though personally I have a soft spot for blue-dial, platinum-case watches so I think it is hard to go wrong with either choice.
