Patek Philippe

Hard to tell Poky

From my own experience, I noticed that not many watches would pass a highly magnified control. This is craftmanship and there is very often a little imperfection somewhere if we look well.

That's also a reason why I don't like using magnifying glasses for watches as it is nearly never perfect. Just not suitable for watch observation, IMHO.

This being said, I don't know how much what you noticed is visible. However, as you seem to say you can see it without magnyfying glasses (more on the rotor than on the dial), I think it can be justified to complain at your AD.

All depends if it is "as usual" in that field, thus not 100% perfect (except Voutilainen or Greubel Forsey's work for isntance), of if it is a real anomaly (something I can't advise you on as I didn't see the watch).

It isn't nice for you to have a doubt on that matter but it is hard to tell if normal or not without holdong it. If the AD said there was a problem, that's certainly a good clue.

Cheers, Mark
