Excellent Warranty Repair Experience
So often we hear of manufacturers taking excessive time for repairs or of things going poorly that I'm posting about an experience that is perfectly normal for Patek Philippe but massively under-reported.
Something malfunctioned in my 5960P blue dial such that the rotor didn't spin freely and the crown offered resitance to winding. I took the watch to my local AD, Traditional Jewlers (though I had bought the watch elsewhere while travelling because Traditional did not have it in stock) with a copy of the warranty papers. They shipped it to HSWR. Six weeks later, they called to say it was back. Shipping was $150, round-trip and insured. The watch is perfect again.
May the holiday season and new year bring all of such normal and non-newsworthy experiences.

My experiences with HS in NYC have been great. The people there are always very attentive, nice and sympathetic to your desire to have your watch. My repair person there has been nothing but fantastic. AP has been a similar experience. There is another Sw...
