Christmas has come early!! :-)
In eight days time, I am finally retiring from my job and leaving the UK after thirty five years here. Today I received a visit from one of the directors of Patek UK who came to say goodbye and I was most surprised when he presented me with a bag full of goodies. I know that I have a bought a number of Pateks over the last few years (five in three years) but I would not consider myself to be a big time collector like some purists are.
This gesture exemplifies something about the Patek experience which is unquantifiable. As I do not have family in the UK, I would like to thank Patek Philippe very much for making me part of their family and for the happiness that it has given me so far.

the 5131R is likely to be discontinued by the end of this year according to the Patek director so do order one now if you want one. Actually, the 5940G was the last Patek I purchased. The first was a 5153G followed by the 5575G, the 7200R London Edition, ...

You could open a shop!! To be honest, I think I have too many Patek pens, ties, wallets and I keep them all in their original packaging and have not used a single item, apart from a tie. Nope, they are not double sealed!!
