I missed mine! Why not bring it to PP and have it checked? If they come back good, then I would worry less about the B&P if the price has factored these missing items, unless you intend to resell it and the future buyer might insist on them. Good luck.

It did appear strange to me as well. But there are a few other 3940s with just 22k engraved on the rotor. Maybe they transitioned from that to the cross at some point of time
Based on the movement number 770xxx it is an early one. Yet it has a see thru back. What about the solid back?

I do have a picture of the extract as well and the movement number matches as mentioned in it. The Extract however states that the model is a 3940J. The seller does not have the solid caseback
My take
Is it looks well polished, and I’m not sure the buckle is right (that’s minor) But otherwise it looks ok. It is not a first series, but an early second series.
