They're two completely different things so I'd say its a matter of how she uses a watch.

For me, the PF Kalpa is more original
and interesting than the Cartier. It has a wonderful guilloché dial. And a lot of details (hands, numerals, case design) that set it apart from most watches. But, of course, if your wife is tired of it or likes the Cartier better, that’s what really count...
