Hard to go wrong with the 127...
But the 372 is a terrific piece as well. In some ways I prefer it to the 127 since I like the simpler dial without the sub-second register. IMO the 372 made it hard to justify the asking prices for the 127, although they've certainly come down quite a bit...

I'd go for the 372 without a moment's hesitation. Easy to find, good value for money etc etc Ciao
The Panerai 127 is a real classic. One of the first in a revolution.
The 372 is one of their best all round values. But the 127 if you can pull it off just has a little extra history to enjoy and put a little extra bounce in your step. The 249 is also a corner stone of the collection. Bill
