Let's start with the novelty introduced just this week.
I asked for the plastic wrap's removal but was declined as they'd just gotten the 9 kt Seamaster in the day before and preferred keeping it in pristine condition. Case brushing, much to my liking, is evident.
A bit too precious? There's a dark green dial available in steel.
I wasn't able to capture the green-ish tint of the dial and bezel, so use your imagination to color what appears black by the dark green evident around '10' on the bezel.
The vintage fans here will go ga-ga for the Olympics model . . .
. . . patterned on the famous Seamaster XVI model issued for the 1956 Melbourne Games. I tried this one on and quite taken.
The meteorite moon phase Speedmaster . . .
. . . is what our Moderator Emeritus Marcus would call a sober watch. The utility of the original Speedmaster design fused with advanced mechanical dexterity . . . kinda like the Mustangs offered now based on '67 designs with up-to-date chassis and powertrain.
The silvery grey Seamaster . . .
. . . would be my call for the most intriguing of the bunch. I've a hunch there will be at least one here in our community soon.
