Jules Audemars Glory
Last November, during the Hong Kong Watch Auction: XXI, Phillips sold this Jules Audemars platinum Repetition Minutes Carillon No. 1, ref. 25818PT.OO.D002XX.01 (it was lot 1119).
With a case diameter of only 28 mm, it is believed to be the smallest carillon repeater ever made (carillon=3 hammers/gongs instead of 2) and the most diminutive minute repeater on the market.

I personally like the Jules Audemars design a lot and I find these timepieces, whether small or larger, simple or complicated, very appealing.

The time only one shows the small movement on the front through the highly placed small seconds subdial but they are generally a line I really appreciate 😊
True, the small seconds is a bit high but it works for me.
I would gladly wear such a watch. And of course also the Carillons! 😇
What beautiful and classy looking Audemars Piguet watches.
Even though I am admittedly a big fan of smaller watches I really find the 28mm size of a round watch to look just too small unless worn by a petite woman or child.

Carillon and lady-sized!
Carillon - or more than two gongs, alone is impressive. As almost all minute repeaters are 2-gonged. Combine that with an ultra-small case! All I can say is WOW. Audemars Piguet used to be the KING of minute repeaters. They have the most extensive history in minute repeaters. Moreso than Patek Philippe, Vacheron Constantin, Breguet, and Girard Perregaux (GP is also known to have made Do-Re-Mi Carillons in the past 20 years, the others generally haven't made carillons in a very long time).
The entire world only produces about 200 minute repeater watches a year (this estimate could be outdated). It's estimated that Patek Philippe makes the most of them.

Reinforces how AP has always been an innovator in mechanisms. I believe they were the first to develop a wristwatch minute repeater for Omega at the turn of the 19th century...Hoping for future smaller supersonneries!!

This AP is so amazing also small but with much presence. I was lucky to play with it a few weeks ago .

I think the "39 mm brother featuring caliber 2890" Grande & Petite Sonnerie Carillon is "only" a 1/4 repeater not a minute repeater. I had the luck to handle it before an auction and it has perfect size and the under-statement you would want, lovely watch
