At the same time, I have to admit that if JLC had decided to bring this watch with the below blue sunburst dial, I would have been one of the first people to order their new integrated bracelet watch!
I think this is the poorest release from the Maison since the Clinton/Mitterand administrations (depending on where you are from) and it is not even close. For the look I would rather have a Tissot PRX, for the money I would rather have a plethora of other watches (sad to say) from other brands. This execution is lazy, uninspiring, unimaginative and honestly downright embarrassing. JLC should not be merely trying to up with the Joneses, they are the Joneses. If this model sells in any remotely positive quantities...I will be flabbergasted. Unfortunately, my mouth is on the floor with this release and not in a good way.
I intentionally did not want to write anything negative about the JLC. You echo my view on this release.

I would have let it pass and potentially bought one if they had released the new watch in exactly the same dial colour I already have in another watch from their Master Ultra Thin line.
We all know that. That if you wear the left or the right watch, its another world. Not the money, they made different, so left or right, its depends wat you see in it.
As i know my own FC, i am cured, i wil pay far more to get left on my wrist. But if it was an IWC, i would hesitate and go on to get something else.
A very restrained design, not all sharp angles, with fluid curves, a very successful dial color, and a classic look. Not very creative or original, but tasteful. Traduire une conversation
I must say I really like this new JLC range. It’s hard to design a new original and fine integrated bracelet. I find this one very nice. I just regret the limited water resistance.
I am looking forward to seeing the watch in real life before I make my final judgement. Based on videos I have seen, the bracelet looks a bit inspired by the Overseas and I prefer the original.
But it's still a demerit, unfairly, but still for JLC. They have to be one step ahead of design 'thieves' even if the thievery is an homage or simply classic design--JLC must play better chess. With that said, I like the new JLC Masters a lot, and of course, no doubt, if you held the FC and JLC side by side, there would be far less similarities than a mere pic. I like the Chronometre Date PR the best, as it calls back to the Futurematic. I find the blue a bit lukewarm. But when various colors are added, as we can be sure they will, I can imagine that watch on my wrist very easily.
