As the original conceiver of this concept, I'm honoured to have the support from the fellow purists in Hong Kong for this event. It was a fantastic evening spent with very good friends, plenty of fantastic pieces and most importantly, purist form of horological meandering
Huge thanks to DarylT for his help and the arrangement of professional photography.
First off, the venue: exquisite setting and magnificient ambience:
Great help from Anna for this perfect setup and service!!!
How can we NOT have obligatory group shot w/ wrists raised?
Wait, where are the watches?
Here we go:
Anybody want to take a shot at identifying the pieces?
Alright, enough teasing, straight on to the pieces:

Thanks once again Alec for pushing forward with this WPP concept and executing it. Kudos!!
Cheers,
Anthony
Just looking at the table, there should be 40 people there.
Thanks for the pics.
Each with four watches. I would venture to speculate a few of them arrived wearing more than one watch. But which came in the green pouch? Did one man bring a woman’s watch?
Great celebration,
Helen
.....the room for the food?
So...
Which ones broke down?
Which ones changed nearest to midnight?
Which ones could be read by middle-aged guys with presbyopia?
Regards, MTF
Well if I ever wanted a list of PC's to look into for next time this is it..!!! I think ALL bases are covered in this GTG.....what more can I say.
Yours,
Andy.
Major kudos AND thanks to you Jester as the Purists now have another original event to their name. With THE Purist in attendance, it must have been a more than awesome night for you guys.
This must be some sort of world record of perpetuals gather in one place.
You should file for a World Record.
Thanks for sharing these pix with us.
Bill
You guys are great. Thanks for sharing your amazing evening.
Cheers
Yes, I am perpetually dizzy when I saw the table overflow by those precious pieces. So many of them.. tsk tsk tsk.. yet attendance is a small fraction of total head counts.. and none of female species is seen..hmmm.. Since the table is spread all over with perpetual buffet, I shall take a pick of some perpetual 'dishes' that I like :
- L.U.C Lunar One, love the orbital moon phases.
- JLC Master Grand Reveil, love the sound of the mechanical alarm and the moon phases of the
2 hemispheres.
- GG perpetual calendar skeleton, just totally love this for whatever it is!
- AP Equation du Temps skeleton, awesome and beautiful.
- IWC chronograph perpetual calendar with cream (light beige?) coloured dial, simply striking.
(",) Thank you for such great feast to the eyes. Tastefully done!
Perpetually full,
Linda
