Welcome to the PuristSPro's newest forum, the WatchTech forum !

This forum is dedicated to developing understanding in how timekeepers work. We will try to be inclusive and include all timekeepers, from the earliest to the newest, from water clocks, through pendulum clocks, wrist watches and cesium clocks.
This is a big and fascinating world and although initially our main focus will be on mechanical wristwatches I hope we will be widening our horizons with time.
As the moderator on this forum I will be trying to instigate and motivate all the scientists and engineers along with the watchmakers and designers to help us in our quest for knowledge.
Please join in, we can all only profit.
And as questions are the door openers to new knowledge, please don't hesitate.

I get flashbacks to how I pored over articles on the TZ Horologium. Hmm must be some 15 years ago now. For sure some very informative posts... and some of them with a lot of personality that created a lot of reactions!

Looking so much forward to this forum Don! I have a profound interest in understanding the inner works of the movements and their functions. I am very confident that with you at the helm we shall see some very interesting posts here.

As our premier quartz enthusiast, I would be asking you to be a moderator of any PuristSPro electronic/quartz forum.

As Don, wrote, all forms of time-keepers are welcomed: from water clocks to caesium reference timers.
