managed to try on the smaller 7128/1G too

What is the size of the new smaller version?  The optimal size appears to be somewhere in between these two.

the smaller version is 40mm. it's measured diagonally, so the bigger 45mm is still ok for me

A friend of mine got the 5822P, but wishes he had gotten the one you got.

i chose this reference because i prefer watches with no or minimal complications like time only or time & date, as you could probably see from my collection

And my complication watches are often not correctly set. Oops.

The wait list is crazy but I could have added myself ...just I had to pick what I really wanted and picked the Aquanaut 5261R-001 that is more me! Still a wonderful watch ..regardless of the critics is extremely popular. Enjoy it!
