Despite having speed limits of only 105 kph! I don't think there's a road in all of California with a speed limit higher than 70 mph or 112 kph.
We can certainly visit LA. But that’s about 380 miles from San Francisco/Silicon Valley.

Yes, pretty boring car in the end
when it was released I tested it because I am fond of italian cars and finally there was a Maserati again. it had no chance against my (at that time) 993 Targa in terms of interior appearance, handling and engine - so I staid with the Porsche until I crashed it (different story)..
some BMW crossed my road (illegally)
to enlighten this situation I purchased a twin turbo 993 afterwards

I took at a Maserati coffee morning in Pimlico. Mine was the pale blue 3200GTA. A wonderful car, I can't remember why I sold it.
I agree with you that they were a gentleman's GT rather than a road-going track day car.
I thought that the deep green Gran Sport was a great car, and in this colour especially beautiful.

I find the lines to be rather soft and feminine. Not that there's anything wrong with that but it lacks a lot of "macho" for me.
If I'm spending that kind of money I'd want a tougher look.
