I had always worn a PP during all my graduate school exams, and this 5146G was one I wore during my last one 15 years ago.  One of my favourite topics too, medical negligence!  So yes, that day for me was quite exhilarating! 😆

My Longines reminds me of my grandfather who was a farmer as he was wearing a watch similar to this one.  My Explorer II reminds me of my dad, who gave me the white dial version some 25 years ago, which I later sold (regrettably!)

and both of your examples are very good. I have to admit that I love both of the watches you have chosen.

I will have to do a proper write-up about the past 6 months, which we had to spend away from our home, courtesy of the insane (and I mean: insane) covid restrictions imposed by the outgoing HKSAR Government. But now we are back, with a little boy in tow, and it's such fun to spend time with him in our house (save for the sleep deprivation).
