In Amsterdam - we parked it by a canal and indulged at 20’s year old capacity. Luckily found it by accident 72hrs later & the day we had to leave - memories took somewhat longer to return. I’d need a parking meter watch with days on it ;-) Great pic &...

I would love to do the restoration as well, but it would actually be financially silly as a fresh restoration is much more expensive than buying a good condition, already restored TR4. While parts are all available and reasonably priced, the bodywork is w...

yes, TR5 are great but very rare and expensive. I still think the TR6 is a great Triumph but the TR4 is better. Don't even mention the TR7

I have to say that as an owner of many BMWs your second shot was thrilling.

Owned a 2002tii (looks like a Lada, goes like a Porsche) and later an E21 323i that got thrashed tail out all over Europe. My bro still has an immaculate E36 328i Convertible & a modern 530D series estate. My father had quite a few 'shark nose' petrol bee... 

Brought a mechanic with me and he said no. It was a beauty though.

The Quattro I had for a year certainly came with some legendary issues! But loved the diff lock switch that made it unstickable. Best. Giles.
