I think your photo is the earlier rotor style. And the new rotor is simply a polished surface with the Breguet script. My apologies!

I'm racking my mind and I'm trying to look for photos and I just can't find it.
I want to say, there was another engraving style that was more floral, traditional, and curved. But I can't find the evidence. So maybe I'm mistaken.
Stunning looking Breguet on both sides.
I think Breguet quality shines through in what they produce and the quality of both dial and movement finishing is second to none.

to the original rotor design first created for inspiration. This watch series is all around fantastic!

And the engraving looks like it would last a millennium
I like that the power reserve indicator is not cutting into the main dial…
Not sure why the newer versions cannot do the same.
Oh no....you're right, my mistake! That might not affect much since it goes fast than the Date that is there for days, eye sore!! I do hope they change so it does not disrupt the harmony of the dial.
Rotor turnings
Rotors are useful as also esthetic beauty.
The one on your Breguet is fabulous, the whole Breguet is fabulous.
I found the clean and simple Miyota as greatest in my collection.
It is only there to wind up the mainspring, and in a way i like that Japanese attitude.
The Alpina rotor design i saw on pictures on the Alpina site, a’ symmetric, uber cool.
