Movement is unusual by Breguet standards!
I still like my idea of a JLC Reverso Tribute, blue dial, 822 movement with special anglage finishing for WPS members. But this idea sounds nice too! I know, let's keep the simple tool watch finishing and just keep the price a little lower! Let's even keep this strap! Something really true to the military heritage. But a genuine Breguet product. And even a "military cardboard box" that's somewhat plainer to keep costs low and the product authentic. The only elaborate will be the warranty paperwork will still be standard as a 40,000 Euro typical Breguet.
There is some big room for such a Community Project, but will Breguet play the game???
This one has an amazing story, as far as I can remember it was "discovered" only recently, or it is another one ? Anyhow, I realize that I like pretty much any vintage, and this one is no exception, despite the low-end movement !
I hope one of the new micro brands does a re-release of this design with no fauxtina and no date..... :-)) just kidding
Hello dear Nicolas! I love this watch even with the date window!! I wish Breguet would offer a re issue of this rare diiving watch...
... which has been haunting me for a long time.
If my memory is right I think that Christie´s offered one for sale a few years ago. Rarest among rare!!
Every time I view a picture of this watch the desire is fueled again.
It also reminds me of some pictures of famed F1 driver Dan Gurney wearing it.
(He also wore a ref 6234 Rolex Chrono!)
If Vlad has a good contact at Breguet to convince them... !
