Breguet Tradition 7037 - A dream come true
For over a decade, I have saved up to purchase a dream watch...the Breguet Tradition 7037 in white gold (the First Automatic Tradition ever + retrograde seconds hand). Discontinued for a decade or so, the 7037 in white gold has become quite hard to find. I stumbled upon one recently and pulled the trigger in perfect condition. I love the entire Tradition line but I just love the balance of this dial and the relatively low-key seconds hand compared to the newer ones like the 7097 and 7597. You are literally looking at the history of watch making in 1 view including notable Breguet's inventions like the Pare-chute and the Balance Springs (don't forget, many Rolexes even use Breguet's overcoils). The blue steeled hands and screws add an intrinsic quality of industrial luxury. I understand the Tradition is not everyone's cup of tea but I'm in awe and want to wear it daily. Also, I am a fan of smaller watches, at 38mm it's the perfect fit.

That rotor is very interesting
The sort of hand "scraped" finish is very different and the only other place I've seen that is the Greubel Forsey Handmade One.
I feel like the Tradition line is slowly getting more and more recognition, am waiting to take delivery of a 7027 myself soon! Enjoy yours
