I was two years old living in Manchester in the UK, five years or so away from my first watch which was a Timex. I was too young to remember the journey to the moon, but I still think to go from the Wright Brothers to the moon in the same century is an am...

It was in the middle of the night / early morning in the Netherlands and the tension was building up contineously -first the landing itself, then the EVA. I even considered putting my just 1 year old daughter in front of the television with her cradle but...  

(communist economics that was......), wore an old glashuette watch ( no, not the flieger chrono), watched west german television; listened to AFN in west berlin; played in a band; watched the moon landing, yes; had a very good time without any worries; no... 

and my girlfriend had stopped by. We were in fact getting frisky on the couch when I called a halt to the proceedings to watch Armstrong walk on the moon. She didn't seem to think much of it, but I was electrified. I will never forget Armstrong's first st...

One of my "coming of age" summers. A lot happened, but I'll never forgot watching the moonwalk outdoors on the beach down in Baja California, a small black and white television hooked up to a car battery, and a group family and friends sitting on makeshif...

the landing was early hours of the morning GMT so i was tucked up with my teddy and dreaming of who knows what. Nicolas, i think you might have been 5 not 4 if you were born in 64, but whats a year in a lifetime Andy, you know what you need. it speaks for...

thats a great looking early E30 Jacky. i've owned 3 over the years all from 1989. the last 2 were convertibles which i had about 3 years ago. one of the best 3 series ever made i think. best Graham
