Very nice, nilo ! seems, the pics. are not all from the same watch ?
pics. one and pic. 5 . swiss made and no swiss made? 2 different watches ? did he have 2 centenary watches and pics. taken? and on the subject of the back engraving: it is re-engraved. nicely done, but later. explanation: this watch was worn. the back of the lugs were polished and if so, that back engraving would be extremly shallow now. i had a look at mine and the engraving is consistent with overall wear. this engraving here looks like you could cut your skin..... but, these rare beauties are in bad shape after 65 years, when worn. therefore he did a very good job ! love it! have a good 2014 all ! kind regards from down under. achim

What a piece to have in ones collection, i have never seen one in the flesh. Just odd that the script and the olive leave on the back, does not look anything like the one in the book, seems like they have been ingraved in the one shown Watch and "stamped"...

The leaves in the book is much more detailed, and at the end of the leaves there is a cross pin, that is not on the shown Watch. The distance between the letters is also different. Sorry but the camera angel can not explain the difference, but that said i...
