I also feel It is also a very important watch in Omega history, celebrating their first 100 years.
I own one example of this model, but I regret couldn´t find any photos in my HD to share here right now.
Mine came with the original silver box, which is a treasure on itself. I think a similar silver case was offered with the first Constellation series.
My watch has no inscriptions on the back, which was somehow a dissapointment to me, thinking some hard polishing had destroyed them. Fortunately, I was informed by a knowledgeable collector that many examples came with no engraving on the back, and that brought me some relief. I would love to have these inscriptions anyway.
The dial is so gorgeous and clean, and you are right, light seems change it depending in the angle the dial receives the light.
It got another plus in my collection: it was made in my birth year!!

What a piece to have in ones collection, i have never seen one in the flesh. Just odd that the script and the olive leave on the back, does not look anything like the one in the book, seems like they have been ingraved in the one shown Watch and "stamped"...

Elio, I didn't paid attention to the number of years, only on the manufacture date. I work with technology products that are truly obsolete (read electronic junk) after one year or so. I'm attracted to mechanical watches because they can and will outlive ...

He owns three or four and he stated that the marks are different. I believe that we are, again, following the wrong thinking that vintage watches were made on a clone factory when in fact it were some sort of artisanal product allowing differences. Cheers...
