A triplet near completion
Hello Guys
this is a project very close to completion. In the years I have completed the Seamaster 300 twisted lug series (165.024, 166.024, 165.024 Royal Navy, 165.024 in NOS conditions). That was between 2000 and 2005.
Then I started the Seamaster 300 straight lug series (CK2913, CK14755, CK 165.014). I found three canonic pieces, all original except two bad bezels and two furniture Omega crowns.
Six years later, I can present you the final product, with ALL ORIGINAL bezels (not Aldo's), and only one furniture crown left to change.
Please note the slight difference of the 2913 back, where the cut-offs for opening the back are shorter.
I am very pleased, these are watches that really make me smile today.

Hi Nico I have no hard proofs, it is just result of collective thinking. What I know is that I have never seen a vintage Omega catalogue/brochure with the lollipop seconds hand in a 2913, not even in Steve Waddington's collection. But I would love to know...
The lollipop did come original in the 2913
Have seen enough examples that look original enough to believe it. Can't make any hard and fast rules though about which 2913 version would have it.
My observation
Is that the -3 can have either - I have seen examples with original bezels in both forms for this model. I believe either bezel type is correct. It's not like these bezels grow on trees so if you see -3 with an intact original bezel then it is likely that...
