. . . but wearing a steel SM today . . .
. . . and probably thru Thursday.
Kinda tough wearing gold when you're shooting pool, especially on bar tables where you have to reach into galleys. Ask me how I know this.
;-)
Speaking of golden Speedmasters: interestingly enough, there's currently an eBay offering of a literally new Speedmaster Professional chronometer.

Yes, the legendary white gold Pro crafted to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of Apollo 11. And one of few Speedmasters fitted with a cal 864 certified movement. (Amazingly, the escape wheel bridge is engraved 'Unadjusted'!) This is thee Speedy reference I'd most like to own after NASA issues (unobtainable as they're US Government property) and the A.C.P.. I had #010 on my wrist about a dozen years ago and was made a reasonable offer by the seller, but was already committed to another purchase and unable to pull the trigger. Big mistake!
Search eBay for 'white gold Speedmaster' to find the listing by an Italian seller. And no, I've no connection whatsoever with him (or her, as the case may be).
