That seems pretty comprehensive.

And very aesthetically rewarding. A great pleasure to see them all at once!

Nicolas asked for a collage of my Omega collection a while back. A bit late, perhaps . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-17:12
. . . but here it is for your viewing pleasure, in no particular order. ['60 ref 2943 / cal 504] ['46 ref 2365 / cal 30T2SCrg] ['44 ref 2242 / 18 jewel 30T2SC] ['53 ref 2667 / cal 420] ['56 ref 2846 / cal 500] ['48 ref 2499 Centenary / cal 28.10 JUB] ['43...

Stunning collection ...

Wow Art, thatโ€™s a great Omega collection. If you had to pick just one, which one would it be ?

The Seamaster DeLuxe has . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-17:32
. . . such an improbable background story it has to be the one that would be saved from a sinking ship. Otherwise, they're all keepers. Even the Seamaster chronometer that was listed for a year on CM is back in my good graces now that it's got an even ear...

Wow,what a collection !!

This is one of the most awesome vintage Omega collections I have ever seen. Many thanks for sharing these watches with us.

Sixteen years in the making! . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-17:37
. . . the first to enter my collection is gone, as are several others sold or gifted away, but for every departure there are six arrivals. Accumulatively, Art

Oh, there's a few targets left, Tony. Always . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-17:40
. . . room for improvement, right?

A couple of them would fit in Omega's museum . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-17:45
. . . and one, the ref CO 2494 cal 352, is nowhere to be found in the virtual universe. I've never seen another. Art

Wow! Spectacular collection my friend!

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : June 10th, 2021-17:55

All are either original or correct in good working order . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-18:06
. . . except the Arabic 2242. Assumed it was an original dial when I bought it, but now believe it's likely a re-dial. Rare eighteen jewel movement that runs well keeps it in the collection. ...

truly impressive

A modern Connie's . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-18:15
. . . always a possibility. Had my eye on one last year, and would find it difficult to resist a current version of Black Connie, with rose gold furniture over a black Florentine dial. Art

That seems pretty comprehensive.

And very aesthetically rewarding. A great pleasure to see them all at once!

There's at least one significant MIA, . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-18:08
. . . a cal 30T 1 . And I still want a ref 2410 chronometer and manual winding Rail, vintage or modern production should Omega see fit to make one again. As our first Omega forum moderator, Bill Sohne, would say: "Good hunting". ;-)

Unbelivable impressive collection!

Easy to see the time and search you have put in this. Thank you very much for sharing this! โ˜บ๏ธ

My pleasure entirely . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-19:36
. . . and I hope to see other SOTC threads soon, especially HSTE's - his Speedmaster collection is tops!

Impressed

If i want a vintage Omega, i know who i can ask for the best advice ever.

Thanks for advice

 By: Weems@8 : June 10th, 2021-19:29
Great value.

If only I'd listened to my own advice when Rails and Bullheads were low four-figure acquisitions! . . .

. . . the Flightmaster made it in just under the deadline - they went up shortly after scoring mine. Art

Lovely, lovely Omega collection. Many of them with a great story behind them. I geel humbled to share one piece with you: The 1894. Not the Japan model like yours, that I would also love to know, additionally! ...

I'll be sure to bring mine . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-19:39
. . . when we have our next Euro g-t-g. Hopefully London.

Hopefully soon ...

So long as there's a direct flight from LAX . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-19:44
. . . I'll be there! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Well, I didn't include the Omega . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-21:13
. . . that has yet to be delivered. It's paid for, just have to wait 'til my turn comes 'round. ๐Ÿ™‚ ...

None other . . .

. . . than Ed White! I was leaning towards Sedna . . . . . . but ended up choosing Practicality over Beauty. ๐Ÿ˜Œ ...

Bravo! Here is one for you.

Vintage 105.002? Way more dineros than the new reissue! . . .

 By: Dr No : June 10th, 2021-22:02
. . . and anyways, if I were going to pop for a perfect 'master, it would be a Rail, not a Speed. I still want a PAF like yours.

105 003.

I was looking at the new Tresor manual movements on WatchAdvisor and if Iโ€™m not mistaken, itโ€™s purpose built for a 40mm case..

 By: Echi : June 12th, 2021-01:37
Which led me to think.. iโ€™m not sure they can plop that in on a 38mm RM which then made me think.. that RM60 wonโ€™t be getting updated anytime soon. Not unless thereโ€™s an existing manual caliber that fits a 38? The movement on those Tresors are quite nice....

Congrats in advance!

As a personal achievement, the Omega collection ranks just behind . . .

. . . the forty Stones shows. [Anaheim, 2013] ;-) ...

Impressed!

Grazie, Nasser! I take that as a high compliment. Dad once said . . .

. . . "You're a phenomenon, son", but pretty sure that wasn't.

Awesome collection Art.

 By: kevster : June 11th, 2021-16:17
A very nice bunch of vintage old relics! Perfect for a vintage old relic such as yourself! HA! A couple of them I had forgotten you had. Keep up the good work. Kev

Well, I'm kinda like my Omegas: an old relic . . .

 By: Dr No : June 11th, 2021-17:24
. . . with original parts in good working order.

Awesome collection dear Art!! What a wonderful chance to view all your Omegas together in one post! I will be viewing again with great attention this week end to enjoy it better.

I can well understand this collection can only be assembled through many years of research and hunting with much passion and patience. Thank you so much for sharing with us! Keep enjoying and loving this great collection so much my dear friend. Best, Abel...

Wow! You know what Iโ€™m thinking though.. that RM is so out of place. Hahaha! Hopefully your Ed White arrives so it can have a modern companion..

 By: Echi : June 12th, 2021-01:31
I love that โ€˜94 cal 269.. note that i just copied the name to make it sound like i know vintage omega. I also like the rectangular one.. the pie pan โ€˜58.. i mean, all of โ€˜em

I like to pair watches; for example, getting the 3635 to match up with the 3697, or . . .

 By: Dr No : June 12th, 2021-16:13
. . . the 2518 to match up with the 2989. The two 2852 Connies, Black and White, match up, as do the black Seamasters, 2846 and 14701. Obviously, one can go overboard with this fetish, too, like accumulating four 2364s. But yes, Ed was acquired partly to ...

Wearing the ref 3697 today . . .

 By: Dr No : June 14th, 2021-01:47
. . . because you mentioned it. Best, Art ...

A real candy!

 By: amanico : June 14th, 2021-06:16

Great collection, wear them all in great health!

 By: wover : June 13th, 2021-07:22
My fav would be the ['94 1894 Homage / cal 269] and the ['58 ref 2852 / cal 505]. I would not know where to go if any of these stopped working. Do you service these yourself or do you "know a guy"...?

Actually, two guys, both . . .

 By: Dr No : June 13th, 2021-13:05
. . . excellent watchmakers. And you've hit on a critical point: collecting vintage is impossible without the services of a talented watchmaker. Those guys make it possible. Art

Thanks, Justin! Minored in history at college; little . . .

 By: Dr No : June 17th, 2021-16:13
. . . did I know then that history would form a major part of my collection. ;-)

Makes sense to me ๐Ÿ˜‰
