Like the close-up. Do we see some scratches on the hour hand made by the minute hand? Anyways, what a nice piece. Cheers, Kolosstt

A holy monster, indeed.

Here is mine, welcoming yours. There was also the Railmaster 2d generation, the 135 004, which was issued to the PAF. But I don't have the numbers for this last reference. Best, Nicolas ...

A piece of history!

Congrats! Super catch! Best Blomman

Thanks for your feed-backs. Cool on this one is also the presumably consistent numbering system....

 By: HSTE : February 7th, 2016-04:31
..... i.e. they all seem to have (case and movement matching) serials starting with 17.527.xxx. The lowest number I have spotted so far on a 2914-5 PAF is 17.527.008, the highest number I have spotted being 17.527.267. So, given the confirmed total number...

Yep, right. Bad Typo. [nt]

Hi Your total details about 2914-5s are not correct Because 175.27.001 upto 175.27.010 are seamaster/Rancheros this was a mix Bach of 2996 and 2914-5. The first 2914-5 serial starts from 175.27.011 upto 030 and the next 10 peices were 2996

I can not recollect to have made any statement about serial numbers and .....

....as to whether they were subsequent or not. So I wonder about what details I provided that were not correct. Cheers, HSTE

Hi

What elevates PAFs in my view . . .

 By: Dr No : December 8th, 2018-11:20
. . . is the dedicated movement inscription. Can't recall another Omega reference sharing that detail. There were scads of 2179s with 'US ARMY' engravings on the back, but I believe those were inscribed after delivery. Art

In a sense, they're even better . . .

. . . than having an extract. The P.A.F. engraving is a contemporary validation of originality. The ultimate obscure Speedy collection would be a brace of P.A.F. and A.C.P. examples. And I believe there's at least one guy here who can claim ownership of b...
