Thanks for your feed-backs. Cool on this one is also the presumably consistent numbering system....

..... i.e. they all seem to have (case and movement matching) serials starting with 17.527.xxx. The lowest number I have spotted so far on a 2914-5 PAF is 17.527.008, the highest number I have spotted being 17.527.267. So, given the confirmed total number of 277 produced, I would assume they did a batch from 17.527.001 to 17.527.277. In terms of delivery dates most seem to have been delivered on July 20/21, 1960. I have seen the odd delivery in August 1960 and one (the 17.527.267) being delivered on December 27, 1960. @ kolosstt: yes, the hands are scratched and partially oxidised. The dial is spotty, the case scratchy as it would be expected on a 55/56 years old watch. Just wonderful..... Best, HSTE
Because 175.27.001 upto 175.27.010 are seamaster/Rancheros this was a mix Bach of 2996 and 2914-5. The first 2914-5 serial starts from 175.27.011 upto 030 and the next 10 peices were 2996
