Omega actually has quite a "pilot's watch" history

The "Thin" and "Fat Arrow" watch from 1953, for example, was made specifically for RAF navigators and pilots. This was the replacement for the Mark 11 specification.
Then there are the 1930s pilot's watches with the winding crowns with the long stems.
The pilot's watch from 1938 which Omega did a reissue of a few years ago.
The Omega 1956 RAF watch with white dial.
And don't forget the Flightmaster!
etc.
