MoonSwatch on Nato Strap Looks Like Genuine Omega Moonwatch!
The MoonSwatch on a Nato strap looks like a real Omega! I had to do a double take. If it can nearly fool me, I bet it can fool a lot of people!
All of these strap ideas came from YouTuber Chris, who has a YouTube Channel called "Clicky Bezel." I don't know Chris, but I welcome him to our forum and would like to say he has excellent taste when it comes to strap choices! All the photos below are screenshots from Chris' YouTube page. This totally looks like a normal Omega Professional Moonwatch with this strap to me. Pretty darn convincing! A great strap choice! And an overall cool outfit. I've got a denim shirt too! And a wrist! All I need is the watch and the strap!
Chris has fairly good taste, he has four different colored MoonSwatch-es to play with and he has got great strap options for all four!
Nice red notebook to go with this. Great setting for a photograph! A red NATO strap with horizontal line weave.
This watch looks so much better than the original! A tan Nato with a small weave. Reminds me of my tan Cucinelli sweater in a way.
This is such a clever and original idea! A blue rubber vintage tropic strap!
Chris definitely has a great aesthetic and has transformed his Omega MoonSwatch(es) and personalized them!

How was he able to get all those models?
Isn't it limited at 1 per person? Or maybe being a youtuber can help you out...just wondering....
I don't know. Maybe he bought the other two aftermarket. Or he went and stood in line another day?
Or maybe he bought his friend's watches... Who knows. Doubtful that he got support from Omega nor Swatch. Since he's such a new YouTuber without a significant subscriber base. And it's limited to two pieces per person.

I especially like, as I've said before, the Jupiter version, and that beige NATO looks top-notch on it. I will likely end up getting a slightly subtler shade of grey NATO when I get mine. Any word yet on the official date for online sales?? Cheers, Filip

A strategy with risks
After the one or the other decade in marketing and communications I am quite sure that this Omega x Swatch strategy is a risky one. It adds to the over diversification of the moonwatch family and could seriously hurt the brand. Well, we’ll see ;-)
