MoonSwatch Mission to Mars

With the help of our venerable moderator Patrick_Y, I was finally able to procure a new MoonSwatch at regular retail, and have been enjoying it thoroughly for the past few days biggrin....

It's all that an inexpensive, playful and (coough-cough) well-designed watch ought to be. Plus, the planet-themed color schemes are as appealing or unappealing as your individual viewpoint allows. The 'Bioceramic' case quality is exactly what you'd expect - neither cheap nor expensive feeling. It warrants its few hundred dollar price-tag. The strap itself is obviously the dullest/cheesiest part of the watch due to low-quality and some tacky branding choices. I'll be ordering a quality NATO-style strap soon enough. The details on the dial itself are actually really well executed and perhaps imbue the piece with an even nicer presentation/feeling than the sub $300 price tag suggests.... Anyway, here's my initial two wristshots, sincere gratitude to Patrick for getting this one for me all the way over in Tokyo, I owe you a favor anytime you ask for one biggrin........

If you look closely enough, you’ll notice that....

I deliberately took these shots sitting next to the kids table at my local French bakery smile....
