I am always missing these watches! I think I have been spending too much time looking at the "exotic" stuff that I have forgotten to look here. This is a beautiful piece. Ever since the Omegamania thing, I have come back to looking at Omega. That is suces...
Seamaster Professional Chronograph in 18-ct. rose gold, titanium and tantalum. One of the first watches to ever use tantalum. At the time of its launch it was incredibly expensive for an Omega, retail was 4x that of the steel SMP chronograph. I first saw ...
Is it licit to have more than one favorite Omega? If yes, then here they go ... Central Tourbillon (first generation), as already shown in pictures above, is my favorite that I aspire to own someday ... Observatory Enamel is too symbolic a piece to pass f...
I realize this is an old thread that just got bumped, but I have to ask if you've ever received an extract from Bienne about the authenticity/originality of that watch.
a few Omegas. First, my Speedy Pro. And these articles from Chuck Maddox. What watches were worn on or near the moon? "What we know about the watches that were worn on/near the moon..." home.xnet.com It was 35 years ago today - (4 June 1965 - 4 June 2000)...
My first Omega was a square Seamaster Quartz in 70's. Still working but I gave it away to family member many years ago.Lost interest in the brand unitl their Co-Axial and now have a fantastic Planet Ocean Chrono Cal 3313...easily the most accurate/consist...
Just for the new forum, I thought I'd prepare this shot for Easter (you can see the date getting ready for Sunday 4/8): It's a real dive tool. Used one for years. The wife thinks it's the ugliest watch on Earth and I wouldn't trade this puppy (even for th...
The largest pic you can post without resizing is 1008 pixels wide as seen in your below post: omega.watchprosite.com In order to get the 1008 max pixels, u need to email in your post by clicking on the email icon to the right of "Post new message." The sy...
I don't know what I was thinking last night but when I woke up in bed today, I was thinking, what did I write? That's a wrong answer! The 1008 pixels max width is for my own settings. The max pixel width that will be displayed is all relevant on how wide ...
to my concern (obviously I left plenty of ambiguity!) I know that "I" can see my picture properly by resizing my browser window, but I post the pictures for others to see. Speaking from my own experience, I would Much Rather see somebody's picture display...
Everyone should be able to view 600 pixels wide. 800 pixels, some might not, and 1000 pixels, a lot won't. So if you definitely want everyone to see a picture which isn't altered by the forum, the only thing I can suggest is to resize your pics down to 60...
pictures I have resized myself, along with (if I am allowed to...) clickable to provide the full-size original. About the "unresized , if I so specify?
which will cause overlap onto right side so if u really want to do this, then email in your pictures, and include the below tag: [image size=raw][/image] This message has been edited by AnthonyTsai on 2007-04-11 07:06:56...
when clicked. If this is because you posted a small version (rather than a dynamically-resized original), then this is what I will try to do in the future. THANKS for all your efforts, much appreciated!
The system will create several sizes and slide show giving the users the ability to see the pictures in the size that fits their screen from small to large. It also helps performance with quick downloads. Give it a try some time. You just click on the ema...
Hi all I am really a vintage Omega collector.... I dont have one favorite Omega sad to say and right now I am wearing a first year Kontiki.... But One of my favorite Omegas are the 1940s 30 mm chronometre wrist watches. Omega made them in both gold and st...
. . . just plain flat out great watchmaking, no frills, a lean mean timekeeping machine. The 30mm chronometers kick the ass of pretty much anything else made in the last 50 or 60 years. Nice to see two of my youthful objects of desire together- the Speedm...
Omega DeVille Jump Hour Tonneau, 28,800vph, 23 jewels, 31.2 x 35.6 x 8mm, Automatic, 44hr power reserve. Comes with a nice SS bracelet. These are no longer available, nor is this one.........for now.
My Speedy 105.003 from 1965 and my Omega Chronometre from the mid 1940s I believe (which, as Steve G so adeptly details on his wonderful site, was "hommaged" by Omega in 1994)...

I love your original early period 57-65 Speedmaster collection. I am thinking of buying one myself, the CK2915 broad arrow. Nothing beats a real original. Congratulations! E
