My sense is the ref 2582 under review was originally similar to this example, possibly with a blued sweep seconds hand. The dial was degraded, so an enterprising watchmaker found one from a gold ref 2635 that fit. Then, realizing the clover crown would look out of place without Seamaster dial script, he added that text on. The result was likely crap so he refinished the whole dial, copying the pattern of the 2635 dial with the addition of 'Seamaster' script. He kept the blued sweep seconds hand because he liked the way it looked. Or he'd trashed the hands from the 2635, or possibly never had them at all.
For all we know, the cal 351 movement might be transplanted, too.

Im helping a friend to find out some info about the dial and crown on this Seamaster. We have to know if this dial is original or redailed? And if the crown is original? The ref is 2582-4 and serial is 11575400 Cal 351 Tony ...

after consulting my omega library best thing is to strip the dial from the movement and see what's written on the back of the brass dial 1 the dial with arabic numerals 12-2-4-6-8-10 is not seamaster as all the ones i can find have 12-3-6-9 if arabic nume...
