Interestingly enough, the 45th appealed in spite of, and not because, it being a Speedmaster.  I responded to it more as a clean sheet of paper than as another limited Speedy.

I gave the matter some thought.

Ultimately sidetracked by vintage distractions; can't say I've ever regretted not going down this road.  But had Omega issued a matching bracelet with it . . .

Good question. I, for one, am very concerned with legibility, but primarily on reading the time. I find the watch highly legible in that regard because of the contrast of the gold minute and hour hands versus the dark dial. The sub-dials are actually not ...
